The implementation engagement can cover gap assessment, ISMS design, information-security risk assessment and treatment, the Statement of Applicability, policies, control ownership, evidence, internal readiness and practical remediation support.
The aim is an operating management system that reflects the organisation, not a document pack created only for a certification visit.
Independent accredited certification
ISO/IEC 27001 certification is a separate conformity-assessment activity. Once the organisation is ready, an appropriately accredited independent certification body assesses the ISMS and makes the certification decision.
